-

- Line graphs allow you to display a data trend over a category.
-

- Spreadsheet data format
-

-
Line graphs require one or more series of columns or rows of data.
-
The number of data cells used is only limited by available memory.
-

- Line graph properties
- The following outlines the properties that are available for Line graphs.
-

-
Series
- Groups the values displayed by rows or columns.
- For example, a 8-row by 4-column data set graphed with series as columns would display four lines, each containing eight data points.
- If graphed with series as rows, AutoGraph would display eight lines (series), each containing four data points.
-
Title
- Specifies the Line graph main title.
-
Category (X) axis label
- Specifies the text label applied to the x-axis.
-
Value (Y) axis label
- Specifies the text label applied to the y-axis.
-
Show border
- Controls display of a border enclosing the graph image.
-
Show legend
- Controls display of the legend in the upper right corner of the graph.
-
Auto-ranging
- Auto-ranging causes AutoGraph to determine the best fit data range to display.
- For example, if your data values range from 35,000 to 67,000, AutoGraph will attempt to display only that range of values.
-
Use specified range
- This option will allow you to zoom in or out by specifying the range of values to be displayed in the Y min and Y max data fields.
-
Show markers
- You have the option of not displaying the data markers.
- You may select from three different sizes of data markers, 5x5, 7x7, and 9x9.
-
Gridlines
- Controls display of the x and y-axis gridlines.
-
Always show origin
- When Auto-ranging is selected, you may force AutoGraph to display the origin on the Y(value) axis.
- If this is not selected, AutoGraph will attempt to display the range of data present in your data set.
